Compact root wood on slate slab in two sizes
The sera Scaper Wood is a rather compact root, which is mounted on a slate plate. In this way, the Scaper Wood can be placed directly in the aquarium without having to water it for a long time beforehand. With a little substrate, the slate plate can be weighted down again and completely covered so that only the root is visible.
In contrast to other commercially available roots, which are often the source of unsightly bacterial growth in the initial phase, only a barely visible biofilm settles on the sera Scaper Wood, which serves as a food source for shrimps and snails.
For planting, for example, various larger plants such as Anubias or Java fern are suitable, which can be tied with a fishing line. But even without planting, the massive root becomes an eye-catcher in the aquarium.

Ik kreeg de planten op een ochtend toe.
Het was pas later op de avond vooraleer ik ze in mijn splinternieuw aquarium kon plaatsen.
Ik heb de doos dicht gelaten tot de avond. Toen ik deze opendeed zaten er drie trays in met stevig verpakte planten. Elk van de planten fris ogend, en sterk.
Ik heb ze in het aquarium gezet en nog geen twee weken verder moet ik al dringend gaan snoeien, ze gaan hard.
En wat ik er zeker bij moet zeggen, geen enkele slak, geen enkel spoor van alg. Heel proper afgeleverd dus. Ik ben tevreden en zal zeker nog bestellen.
Mooie, fijne mosstructuur die perfect past in een natuurlijk ogende scape. De in vitro cup was proper, zonder slakken of rommel. Alles zag er fris en gezond uit bij ontvangst.

Ik heb Dupla PlantFix gebruikt om mos en enkele andere aquariumplantjes op lavastenen te bevestigen, en dat verliep probleemloos. De lijm houdt goed, zelfs op poreuze oppervlakken zoals lavasteen, en ik had geen last van loskomende planten of troep in het water.
Het is een mooie mix van planten mooi op kleur en zien er goed uit.
