The natural habitat of fish such as discus, scalar (moonfish) or neons is characterized by very soft, trend-wise slightly acidic and often somewhat dark colored water. These so-called tropical blackwater conditions can be achieved easily and long-lasting with sera super peat.

The functional granulate made of natural black peat, simply placed in the filter, reduces the KH in the long term and stabilizes the pH value in the slightly acidic range. In addition, it continuously releases valuable humic and fulvic acids.
