Actually, the term 'Crabs' is biologically a summary term that includes shrimps, crabs and crustaceans. But among aquarium owners it has become clear that we distinguish between crayfish (with claws) and shrimps. Crabs (with a rounder shell) are also linguistically included in the crustaceans. Among crabs and hermit crabs there are also species that live on land and only visit the water to mate. When it comes to food, we can simply group all claw-bearing species together because their feeding habits are very similar. JBL PRONOVO CRABS therefore contains shrimps and fish, but also vegetable components such as spinach and spirulina. Wood fibers are also included as dietary fibers.

When feeding multiple crayfish in an aquarium, it can be useful to provide the crayfish with the waffles one after the other. The fastest and strongest gets the first waffle and then the others can be provided with 'their' waffles in a targeted manner. Crayfish find food extremely quickly and certainly via their sense of smell. It is therefore not necessary to drop a large amount of waffles into the aquarium. Targeted feeding is always wiser. A plastic tube can be helpful to deliver a waffle to a specific place in a very targeted manner.
