Hygrophila Pinnatifida - In Vitro
The Pinnatifida is a very special Hygrophila species from India. The characteristic fern-like, lobed leaf will turn cognac to red/brown under water.To keep the plant healthy and beautifully colored, Co2 is desired. When the Pinnatifida does not get the desired nutrients, the leaf will remain somewhat greener in color.
The Hygrophila Pinnatifida has adhesive roots, this makes it a suitable plant to bind to wood or stone. The plant is a slow, but compact grower.
