Lowers the phosphate level in your aquarium.

Hs Aqua Phosphate Minus is an iron-based filter material that binds phosphates and filters them from the water.
This inhibits and prevents filamentous algae growth.

Replace the material after 3 months or after an increase in the phosphate level.

Please note: conventional phosphate tests only show free phosphate in the water. However, phosphate tends to form compounds with itself and other minerals present in the water.

This means that more phosphate may be present in the water than the phosphate test indicates.
Once the first large quantity has been removed, the bound phosphates are released again and can be measured again.
