Echinodorus Vesuvius
Helanthium Bolivianus Vesuvius
This is an Echinodorus species with green leaves.
What makes this plant special is its spiral-shaped leaf that grows upwards in the aquarium like a corkscrew.
Due to this leaf shape, the Echinodorus Vesuvius is often confused with a Vallisneria species. However, this plant does not make underground runners but grows from a rosette. Vesuvius is difficult to grow and is therefore not always available.
