Echinodorus Bleheri
Echinodorus Bleheri
One of the most well-known Echinodorus species is the Echinodorus Bleheri.
This Echinodorus Bleheri can grow quite tall, leaves can reach 60 cm in height.
The leaves can reach a width of up to 8 cm.
Because the Echinodorus Bleheri is a fairly large plant, it is not suitable for small aquariums.
In larger aquariums it is not advisable to plant the Echinodorus close together, because the Echinodorus Bleheri will quickly become a large, bushy plant.
Before planting, it is better to cut the roots back to 3-4 cm and then place them in sand or gravel.
Echinodorus species like to absorb nutrients mainly through the roots.
This can easily be done by using e.g. Hs Aqua Terracaps and/or Hs Aqua Lateritabs.
