Substrate as the basis of the aquarium

With the substrate from Aquariumplantenshop you create a good base for your aquarium. We have all kinds of substrates, from filter sand to gravel. For the best plant growth in an aquarium with many plants, we recommend using gravel with a grain size of 1 to 2 mm in combination with a nutrient substrate. If you have catfish or other bottom fish in the aquarium, sand is the best choice.
