The Alternanthera Reineckii Mini is very similar to the other species of the Alternanthera family, but grows a little slower.
However, it remains slightly smaller, making the plant ideal for small aquariums such as Nano tanks or aquascaping.
By regularly trimming the Alternanthera Reineckii Mini, the plant will not grow higher than about 10 cm. If this is not done, the plant can reach a height of up to 20 cm.
But that depends on several factors such as light and nutrition.
Combining the Alternanthera Reineckii Mini with a light green carpet of, for example, Micranthemum monte Carlo or Hemianthus Callictroides creates a beautiful contrast.
