Sera pH/KH-minus
For extra soft water
Some fish species (e.g. discus and moonfish) are adapted to very soft water and this condition is particularly necessary for reproduction.
However, when keeping other fish species, the water may have too high a carbonate hardness (KH), or the pH value may have risen too much due to natural metabolic processes.
In such cases, sera pH/KH-minus helps reliably and quickly.
The pH value as well as the KH are immediately and accurately lowered and regulated.
In this way, appropriate conditions for keeping the animals are created for the species, which contribute significantly to the well-being of the fish.

Tip:
To permanently maintain tropical soft water conditions, adjust the KH to 4 °dKH with sera pH/KH-minus and then place sera super peat in the filter.
Recommended dosage
To reduce the carbonate hardness (KH) by approx. 1 °dKH, add 5 ml sera pH/KH-minus per 20 l of water daily
- to lower the KH and pH
- as immediate aid in acute ammonia poisoning
- as preparation for using sera super peat (adjust the KH to 4 °dKH with sera pH/KH-minus, then ensure long-term stable soft water conditions with sera super peat)
Repeat the dosage daily until the desired result is achieved.
Do not use more than double the dose per day, as not all animals tolerate sudden KH changes of more than two degrees!
Aerate the water well during use.
Do not allow the KH to drop below 3 °dKH (check with sera kH-Test), otherwise there is a risk of a drop in acidity!
