Optimal care for aquarium plants: For permanently healthy and beautiful plant growth, we recommend monthly root fertilization with Tetra Crypto plus regular foliar fertilization with Tetra PlantaMin or Tetra PlantaPro. In lushly planted aquariums, additional enrichment of the important plant nutrient CO2 is recommended (e.g. with Tetra CO2 Optimat or Tetra CO2 Plus). Furthermore, ensure a daily lighting time of 10 to 12 hours with constant light intensity (replace light source regularly, six to twelve months). Avoid direct sunlight in the aquarium, as this promotes algae growth.
