Scaper Root M 2
Very finely rooted branches
The sera Scaper Root is a particularly finely shaped root, which is ideal for the lifelike reproduction of landscapes. Even when dry, it is dark brown in color and looks almost black under water. If the root is to be placed freely in the aquarium, it should be watered before inserting it, so that it does not float in the aquarium. The alternative would be to weigh it down in the water with stones or other roots.
Unlike other commercially available roots, which are often the source of unsightly bacterial growth in the initial phase, only a barely visible biofilm settles on the sera Scaper Root, which serves as a food source for shrimps and snails.
For planting, for example, various types of moss, such as Java moss or Phoenix moss, which can be tied with fishing line, are suitable. But even without planting, the fine root becomes an eye-catcher.
