When the KH value of the pond water is too low, the pH value will also fluctuate during the day. This can cause fish diseases and algae growth. The optimal KH value for the pond is between 5° and 10°, this also ensures optimal plant growth. If the value drops below 5° KH, Moerings KH Plus ensures a rapid increase without water clouding.
Dosage:
25 ml (1 measuring cup) increases 900 litres of pond water by 1°KH. This is an indication. In heavily polluted ponds the increase may be less.
Contents:
- 1L for increasing 8,000 litres of water by 4°KH
- 2.5L for increasing 20,000 litres of water by 4°KH
- 5L for increasing 40,000 litres of water by 4°KH
- 10L for increasing 80,000 litres of water by 4°KH
