This perennial plant comes from southern and southwestern Europe.
The Anagallis Tenella grows with creeping, square, thread-like stems on which opposite, short-stalked, rounded green leaves appear.
The pink flowers appear from the leaf axils.
In the wild this plant grows in wet, marshy meadows or heathlands.
For sun to light shade, tolerates acidic to calcareous soil.
Moderately winter hardy.
